Soak program

 

Put some detergent and a bit of water onto the oven floor. Heat it up to 60 ° C. The heated soapy water condenses on the cool oven walls. The soaked dirt can be removed with a sponge.

 

For ovens with integrated steam cooking, the dirt can be dealt with by adding steam and then the cleaning is much easier..

Grease filter / catalyst

 

When cooking, vapors is being produced in the oven, the fat, odors and suspended matter builds up. Enriched oven air is drawn by the fan and passed through the grease filter and / or catalyst.

The catalyst is a braid coated with platinum or consists of 100% high-sensitivity palladium. In the catalyst, the fat-containing compounds and odorless compounds with moisture are converted. However, this is only possible when the catalyst reaches its operating temperature of 180 to 220 ° C and up to about 500 ° C.

 

Catalytic cleaning help

 

Residues occurs by the catalytic coating of the inner walls and / or the oven roof of degradation of fatty dirt. The cleaning is done by special ceramics, in both cases, the surface is very rough and porous. The increased surface area causes fat splashes and vapors over a large area.

 

The surface embedded metal oxides (catalysts) can be combined with atmospheric oxygen and heat oxidizes fat and breaks down into water and carbon dioxide. The higher the temperature, the faster and better is the purification. The cleaning takes place during baking and frying, if temperatures higher than 200 ° C are reached.

 

Catalytic interior walls can be used every time or as an optional accessory (catalysis Set) for attaching or screwing of oven rear wall and ceiling. The catalytic ceramic coating (ecoClean: Bosch, Siemens, Neff) can be regenerated using special cleaning programs.

 

If the cleaning effect wears off, the plates must be replaced. The timing depends on the frequency of use.
The porous catalytic surface must not be treated with oven cleaner, abrasive cleaners, fixed brushes, scouring pads or steel wool saponified. Cleaning should be done with a soft cloth soaked with detergent.
